I’ve had a lot of fun to writing this first book in the Fake Marriage Romance seriesย ๐
There’s been a few changes(isn’t there always when you’re writing a book?).ย I’ve decided to change the book’s title to: The Billionaire’s Marriage Bargain.
This story is about Adam Stevenson – who has all the money and toys he needs, but is missing the one thing that he really needs… belonging and love.
Adam – is a cool, detached computer geek, who has just been informed that his great-grandfather left him the original homestead ranch. There’s only problem: the requirement for him to get his hands on the ranch he loves, is that he must marry before his 27th birthday(which is in a little less than 30 days).
He’s been wounded by love before, so doesn’t want anything to do with that particular emotion. But he also wants the ranch badly enough, that he’s willing do what it takes to find a wife – even if it means he needs to make aย marriage bargain.
He goes to the ranch to think… and ends up seeing Elle Jennings again. He has known Elle since she was ten years of age… she used to sneak into great-grandfather’s ranch to ride his retired race horses.
Against his will, Adam still remembers her heartbreak from the last time he saw Elle. She had been twelve years old, standing in the rain at her father’s funeral…
Adam fights against his attraction to Elle and feels like he’s drowning in guilt from the memory that he couldn’t save her father in that truck accident so long ago.

Elle Jennings, is in a panic, because she’s about to lose her father’s ranch. Her stepmother has mismanaged the money, and despite all her efforts, the bank will foreclose on her father’s ranch in 3 weeks.
She doesn’t know what to do. Adam arrives andย offers to help with chores on the ranch, because he wants to get back to his ranching roots again, but he also wants talk to her about what happened so long ago.
Elle doesn’t want to talk about it.
Elle’s godmother Detective Joanna Kingsley reminds her that the accident was proven not to be Adam’s fault.
The trouble is, Elle’s heart wants someone to blame.
… and the more she gets to know Adam, the more she sees his kindness and compassion… and finds herself fighting her attraction to him as the days go on.
When Adam offers a Marriage Bargain as a solution to both of their problems, Elle feels like she is betraying her father’s memory…. yet she really wants to save Tara.
They make a bargain with a lot of conditions… will they find it in their hearts to forgive each other and allow their hearts to move from fear to love?
